I thought a more recent update would be appreciated.
Skull: I think i’m going to get sun stroke.
Author: you. I’m going to get word stoke.
Skull: What does that even mean. Just get me out of this city already.
Author: It means I just don’t want to look at it.
Skull: Sigh. You know maybe you should skip ahead and write those other chapters you’ve been dying to finish. You were really happy to come up with the continuation of the journy.
Author: I am. I can’t wait to see the look on your face when you realize you never should have given up the opportunity to return home because now you never will.
Skull: What!
Author: Ya.
Skull: No go back. I’m happy. I’m happy here. I can find a girl, get married, a house. I can live a decent life.
Author: Aw he’s so cute.
Skull: What about the good things in life?
Author: A lot of good things do happen. Don’t worry. I’ll make sure you’re remembered in the sequel.
I finished chapter 17 and must tackle the dreaded 18 which got pushed back three chapters and still feels out of place.
